We adopt a holistic approach to understanding how a site can yield to meet Client aspirations whilst meeting all statutory, strategic, heritage, environmental and stakeholder opportunities and controls. It's about having the hard fought experience, recognising the existing conditions and having a deep appreciation of Client aspirations. Apply this with Long Cycle Thinking, establishing where the asset or outcome needs to be positioned in the long term. This is our version of time travel, porting our thinking to the future to obtain the benefit of virtual hindsight.

We approach each project with a strict planning discipline, this is a conflation of "Planning" in the Local Gov sense and the commercial strategic space, where the very important pillars of; who, what, when, where and how much, are thought deeply to provide Clients with a clear structure and pathway through our given brief.

People + (Process x (Rigour + Efficacy)) = Permits

We identify who is who, what levers they pull and what motivates and constrains them. Every stakeholder and counterparty has a paradigm toward the outcomes they need to achieve, the risk surfaces they mitigate, the documentation they require and the process they follow. Engagement is about smashing glass barriers to success through understanding the people, and providing the rigour and efficacy to the stakeholders and counterparties enabling them to do their work with the least bottlenecks. This is not about yielding, this is about understanding. Every person has their agenda, every department has their policy. Without understanding many fail or become consumed blaming the bureaucracy rather than predicting and embracing it.
